What this page covers

This page explains what happens when you share your email with Get Up Ugly, and the basic terms for using this site and the worksheets, book, and other materials found here. It's written in plain language on purpose. If anything is unclear, reach out at niaashnotes@gmail.com.

What we collect

When you sign up on this site, we collect your email address. That's it, we don't ask for anything else, and we don't track you across other websites.

Why we collect it

We do not sell, rent, or share your email address with advertisers or unrelated third parties.

Who handles your data

Email signups and delivery are handled through Kit (ConvertKit), our email service provider. They process your email on our behalf under their own privacy and security practices. You can read their policy at kit.com/privacy.

Your choices

Every email includes an unsubscribe link. You can opt out at any time, no explanation needed, and we'll stop emailing you. If you'd like your data deleted entirely rather than just unsubscribed, contact niaashnotes@gmail.com and we'll take care of it.

Cookies

This site does not use its own tracking cookies. Our email provider, Kit, may use minimal technical cookies as part of processing the signup form. We don't run ad trackers or analytics pixels on this page.

Content and copyright

All written content on this site and in Get Up Ugly, including the book, worksheets, and this website's text and design, is © 2026 Nia Ash. All rights reserved. You're welcome to quote short excerpts with credit, but the book, worksheets, and site content may not be reproduced, resold, or redistributed without written permission.

Not professional advice

Get Up Ugly is a personal development book written from lived experience. It's meant to be honest, practical, and encouraging, but it is not therapy, medical advice, or a substitute for professional mental health support. If you're struggling, please reach out to a licensed professional or a crisis line in your area.
